Project Status and Timeline

Greetings all!
Thanks everyone for your patience, as I know we haven't updated in a while. We've had a lot of moving parts with unexpected turns, so I wanted to get a good grasp of where we were before posting.
Due to changes in availability, life events, and in one case, a family tragedy, we hit a few scheduling delays all at once. Thankfully, most of these delays are temporary, but it took us a bit longer than expected to get everything back on track.
That being said, we've had to push many of the draft deadlines forward by a couple of months. This also pushes back some of the artwork/cartography. Because of this, our planned release is going to be delayed likely until the mid-Summer instead of late Spring, as we originally planned.
We're still going to do our best to keep as close as possible to our original release date. If we can get it done sooner, we will, but as many of our gamers already know, we strive for delivering quality over a rushed product.
Section Previews
Even with production delays, we still want to provide content that can be used while backers await the finished product. Once new sections go into playtesting, we'd like to send out preview copies of the text upon finished, edited text.
Special Backer Rewards
The Last Command: First day backers should have already received the intro adventure, The Final Command. An updated version will be uploaded into BackerKit by tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for it in your emails.
Exemplar Submissions: Backers who pledged at the Exemplar level should have received an email requesting additional information regarding their survey submissions. If you haven't received an email, please let us know right away.
Playtesting
Within the next week, an invite form will become available to sign-up for open playtesting. Existing backers and members of our EG community are welcome to participate, pending an agreement of non-disclosure and Code of Conduct.
The sign-up link will be available to prior playtesters and users on our mailing list, as well as anyone that has joined our official Facebook group, or Discord server.

Hello all!
We're 86% completed on surveys. That's fantastic! We had a few questions regarding submitting shipping information for digital pledges. Shipping info was switched on for all pledge levels to correct an issue with a new BackerKit feature.
The shipping costs were being calculated incorrectly for digital pledges that purchased physical add-ons, causing some confusion during the survey. The charges were corrected after shipping information was entered. We apologize for anyone's inconvenience.

Undeliverable and Incomplete Surveys
Rewards can only be sent out to backers who completed their surveys. Please complete yours at your earliest convenience.
If you did not receive your survey, either from it being kicked back by your provider (Outlook and other "Office" based emails are notorious for this) or you may have just missed it, you can retrieve it using the following method:

Hello all and Happy New Year!
The bulk of the major work begins this month. As the work continues, we've been putting together resources to provide ease of project tracking and fulfillment.
Update on BackerKit Surveys
Our BackerKit setup is approved and we're ready to send out backer surveys. A few of the surveys will go out later today with the bulk of them to be sent out later in the week. If you our in the first batch to receive your survey today, please respond at your earliest convenience, as this may help us recognize any potential issues that may arise.
While filling out your survey, please keep the following in mind:
Please complete the survey in its entirety to ensure you lock in the correct rewards for your pledge.
You can upgrade your pledge if you choose by selecting "switch your pledge level" at the starting screen, or by clicking on your pledge level amount at the top of the survey.
Certain pledge levels will have additional questions regarding special items and/or rewards.
If you can't complete your survey or wish to make changes after completion, a contact link is provided within the survey itself.

Digital Fulfillment
After surveys are completed and locked, we can start sending out digital pledge rewards for books completed products. These include the following:
Esper Genesis Rulebooks—Digital PDFs to be sent via DriveThruRPG.
Tales and Tomes from the Forbidden Library add-on—PDF version to be sent via DriveThruRPG.
"Day One" Backer Rewards—sent as Digital Downloads via BackerKit.
Virtual Tabletop editions can be redeemed with coupon codes to use in their corresponding VTT marketplace. Additional details will be provided in future updates as the project nears completion.

Survey update and poll results

Hello all!
Just a few things to cover in our first post-campaign update.
Backer Survey Status
While waiting for Kickstarter to do it's 2-week verification, we've been setting up the pledge manager on Backerkit. After the Backerkit team approves the surveys and charges, you should be receiving them via email.
The original plan was to have surveys out this week, but since their team is out of the office from Dec 23rd to Jan 2nd, they'll instead most likely go out after the New Year.
As soon as the surveys go out, I'll post another update here.
ProjectDevelopment: In addition to the pledge manager, we're putting together an Expedition homepage where a development schedule with planned fulfillment dates will be made available. The team will be working through initial writing though much of January. Between now and then, we'll also be sending out some of the digital rewards and exclusives.
It looks like it was close for a while, but the Mysterious Origin template came out on top! The following character origins will be added to the book:
Blood of the Ancients (Thalis Native): The blood of far-away travelers from other worlds runs through your family. Your ancestral lineage has always held innate psionic abilities most others assume to be magical in nature.
Galactic Magician (Space Explorer): Your practice of esper powers have always been more mystical than logical, and shrouded in bizarre ritual. This variant practice presents alternate effects from commonly known esper powers and abilities.

Thank you all!
And it's done! I humbly thank all of you pioneers for your support, excitement, and encouragement. The campaign funded nearly twice over again with multiple stretch goals passed, helping to turn this adventure saga into a super-charged campaign resource.
We also unlocked the Collector's Edition cover!
And we're just getting started....
As development gets underway and initial awards are distributed, we'll be sending out exclusive preview content and announce even more opportunities to leave your mark on the Veiled Realms of Thalis and the Aldor Star System.
After initial surveys are completed, the campaign will transition into the Backerkit Pledge Manager. Over the week, please be on the lookout for your Kickstarter survey via email.
